There is a life on the other side of this.
The way a dating app works shapes what happens on it. Cards Up makes showing up, being honest, and finding each other part of the structure.

Intent is visible on your card. Marriage, serious relationship, or open to casual. You can see what someone says they are looking for before you start a conversation. You do not have to know whether a stranger will become your partner. Nobody does. You do have to be honest about what you are looking for. The record makes the gap between a declaration and a pattern of behavior visible.
Make room for something to develop.
You can explore connections before deciding. Good faith means reading the profile, showing up when you agree to meet, and closing other conversations when you find someone you want to focus on. What you cannot do is deliberately tell several people they are the only one while concealing the others. Their time is part of their life. Treat it that way. The Community Standards name deception directly and explain what happens when a reported pattern is confirmed.
The structure does the work.
Every face is checked by a person. Everyone who fits your filters shows up, most recently active first. One message per person per day until they reply. Once they reply, the conversation opens. Reply behavior and meet reliability are part of the public record. These choices put weight behind showing up. A thoughtful bio introduces someone. What they do gives you more to go on. You decide whether to keep getting to know them.
When you find each other, the cards go quiet.
When both of you confirm you found your person, both profiles go quiet. You get seven days to close your other conversations kindly. Nothing is deleted, and either person can come back alone if it does not work out. A relationship needs room to become something. A shared life, a home, a family should not feel like things the app is working against. Cards Up gives you a way to turn toward the person you found and leave the browsing behind.
The app should have an ending.
Cards Up was built to be used once. That is the objective, not a guarantee that every connection will work out. The app is free, with an optional payment that removes banner ads. Nobody buys better reach or priority over you. We are collecting the waitlist now. There is no announced launch date yet. Join with your email and confirm the link we send. We will tell you when the doors open. No payment or dating profile required.
