You do not pay to exist.
A dating profile should introduce you to a person. It should not be the opening bid in an auction for their attention.

Cards Up shows people who match your filters, most recently active first. No ranking score decides that you belong at the bottom. No boost moves a paying account ahead of you. Your preferences decide who belongs in your feed. Payment does not. Equal visibility means equal rules for being shown. It does not mean everyone will be interested in you, and it does not promise you a date. The person on the other side still gets to choose. So do you.
Say something. There is no match to purchase.
You can send a first message directly. Until that person replies, you may send them one message per local calendar day. Once they reply, the conversation opens with no limits. That limit applies to each sender and recipient. It stops one person from stacking messages in your inbox. It does not mean only one person can contact you in a day. Harassment and continued contact after a decline or block are violations of the Community Standards.
The whole app is free.
A small banner ad on the browsing tabs covers the costs. If you do not want to see it, $4.99 a month removes it. That is the entire perk. No boosts. No paid reach. No priority placement. No extra first messages. Money buys the absence of the ad. It buys no advantage over the person who kept it.
Being seen is only the beginning.
Every face is checked against a live pose challenge before the card goes live. Intent is declared on the profile. Reply behavior and meet reliability are part of the public record. The point is to give two real people a chance to find each other and enough information to decide whether to take that chance. When both confirm they found their person, both cards go quiet. A person who leaves because it worked is the outcome Cards Up was built for.
Be here when the doors open.
Cards Up is collecting its waitlist. There is no announced launch date yet. Everyone gets access together when there are enough people signed up to actually find someone. Join with your email and confirm the link we send. We will tell you when the app launches. No payment and no dating profile are required to join the list.
